Orange County Bumper Repair
Choosing A Bumper Repair Technician

You perhaps have faced this scenario before; your bumper  just suffered from damage but not so sever that you need a new one . So you need to make a choice , should I send the car to the  collision repair shop or call out a mobile guy who says they can fix  it on the spot.

First thing you will  most likely pay a little bit more at a fixed location than you would a mobile repair person. usually has your car for more that a few hours; this requires another means of transportation. Perhaps you may need to rent a car, this adds to the expense.  A good mobile technician can usually repair a typical bumper in about 2 to 3 hours.

When it comes to the quality of the  work the  body shop may have it over the mobile guy  just a little but not by  a large amount .  A mobile  guy  has to deal with wind, dust particles. At a fixed location you are spraying in a booth.  There are  thousands of  extremely good mobile bumper repair technicians around the country  and they are going to perform an absolutely  amazing  job on your vehicle . To the average person  when the job  is  done they would  not even notice a change.

A word of caution  is always check references and make sure the technician is bonded and insured before he performs any work on your vehicle. Also  inquire if he or she  stands behind their work with any type of guarantee.

The Body Shop is going to give you, in my opinion, a  slightly better  quality job, is there if you have a problem ( in case your not fully satisfied with the work), accepts insurance claims if necessary and gives your security over a mobile vendor ( here today gone tomorrow).
